Learn to speak Japanese in 30 days! Pimsleur Level I Japanese Language Programs will, uniquely in this short period, take you to the "Intermediate Low" level of spoken Japanese as determined by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL scale ). At this level you will be able to create with the Japanese language, ask and answer simple questions on familiar topics in Japanese, and handle a simple situation or transaction.

More importantly you will be able to continue progress with the language from a well-established natural foundation. Completing Levels II and III gives you Intermediate High level spoken skills, well on the road to advanced competency.
